Ascension Providence “Goes Red” for American Heart Month

Ascension Providence is going red throughout the month of February for American Heart Month. Each night in February, Ascension Providence Health Center is lighting up red to help raise awareness about the risks of heart disease.

All newborns born at Ascension Providence during the month of February will go home in a red beanie in honor of American Heart Month, and associates at Ascension Providence are wearing red each Friday of the month.

Additionally, Ascension Providence is hosting Heart and Stroke Education seminar each Friday from 11a-1p. It’s free and open to the public. Seminar topics include:

  • February 1: Hand only CPR and blue pressure checks by Chest and Pain Stroke Coordinators
  • February 8: Congestive heart failure clinic
  • February 15: Cardiology and cardiac rehab
  • February 22: Cath Lab and EP Lab
