Congestive Heart Failure Clinic

The Congestive Heart Failure Clinic at Providence opened in 2001 as a Physician-directed and nurse-managed clinic providing comprehensive care for patients with the diagnosis of heart failure. The staff work with the physician to provide long-term outpatient heart failure management. Experienced cardiovascular nurses are certified in specialized heart failure care by the AAHFN-American Association of Heart Failure Nurses.  The nurses also have advanced cardiac life support certification. Infusion therapy, medication assistance, and in-depth teaching about the disease process and lifestyle are just a few of the services available to the CHF Clinic patient.
