The type of admission necessary will be determined by the admitting psychiatrist.
Inpatient admission is admission to a psychiatric unit that will be determined by current psychiatric functioning and safety needs. The patient will remain in Providence DePaul Center until discharged from the facility.
Partial hospitalization (Day Treatment) admission includes attending groups at Providence DePaul Center during the day, but returning home in the evenings. Monday – Friday patients will attend three to four groups daily (subject to insurance benefits).
Intensive Outpatient Program admission includes attending programs at Providence DePaul Center for short periods of time one to five days per week (two to four hours per day), but returning home in the evenings. These programs are longer in duration than Day Treatment. Expected duration of Intensive Outpatient Programs are four to six weeks in length. All is subject to insurance benefits.
- Transfers from other facilities are accepted.
- Providence DePaul Center is not a residential or long-term treatment facility.
