Prepared Childbirth Classes

Why Are Childbirth Classes Important?

Welcome to the wonderful world of parenting. It may not feel like you are really a parent, since you can’t hold or kiss your baby yet, but you are parenting your child with the decisions you make today. This is an exciting time in your life and you want to do the best for yourself and your growing baby. That is why you should consider taking a little time out of your busy daily routine to attend Prepared Childbirth Class.

This one-day class answers many of the questions you may have been thinking about:

  • How will I know if I’m in labor?
  • What does a contraction feel like?
  • How do you do that funny breathing I always see on TV?
  • Will I ever see my toes again?

These are just a few of the questions that are answered in Prepared Childbirth Class.

Classes are fun, laid-back and full of games, activities and prizes and snacks. Best of all, you will learn about the choices you have in childbirth and how to make the best possible decisions for you and your baby.

Classes are held once a quarter on the 1st Saturday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the main lobby.
