Where is Human Resources located?

Human Resources is located on the health center campus in the Pavilion building facing Highway 6. For additional information please see our section on Location and Parking.

Can I apply for as many jobs as I want?

You are welcome to apply for as many jobs as you are interested in. However, each job must be applied to separately. Providence is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applicants who meet the position requirements.

How long will it take before I get hired?

There is not a precise answer to this question. The staff at Providence Healthcare Network processes a large volume of applications and employee transfers each day. Processing time for individual applications can vary due to the volume of qualified applicants for each position, screening and interview schedules, access to employment verification information and timing of orientation schedules.

What can I do if I forgot my username?

Enter your email address and click the “Find Username” button.

If your email address is recognized, the system will send you an email notification containing the username that is associated with the email address on file.

If the email address is not recognized, call Ascension Candidate Care at 1-855-778-6037.

What can I do if I forgot my username and I did not previously provide an email address?

Please call 1-855-778-6037 for assistance from one of our friendly and helpful Ascension Candidate Care associates.

What can I do if I forgot my password?

Enter your username and click the “Get New Password” button. The system will create a new password and will send an email notification to the email address associated with your account.

What can I do if I forgot my password but I did not previously provide an email address?

If you request a new password, but do not have an e-mail address associated with your account, a message will display stating that you do not have an email address and will instruct you to register for a new account. Please do not re-register an Applicant Profile; instead please call 1-855-778-6037 for assistance from one of our friendly and helpful Ascension Candidate Care associates.

How often are job postings updated?

Job postings are updated daily. Once a position is filled, it will be removed from the website.

If I have submitted an application for one position, will I be considered for any other open positions?

To ensure the proper and timely handling of your important application information, we encourage all potential applicants to complete online applications for each position for which they are interested in and meet requirements. The online application process will afford you the opportunity to upload resumes, documents and, if you supply an email address as your preferred method of contact, to receive up-to-the-minute application status updates. There is no limit to the number of applications that you may submit and much of your information is saved in your Applicant Profile for easy retrieval and a quicker application process.

Once I submit my application, how do I go in and update my information/resume?

Once you submit your application, no changes can be made to that particular application. If you have new information you feel is relevant to the recruitment process and you have already submitted an application, simply return to the posted position and re-apply for the position. Re-applying for a position will give you the opportunity to provide a new application, and the opportunity to make the necessary updates you feel are important for review. If you need to change your contact information, you may log into your account and update this information.

When will I hear back regarding the status of my application?

Access to the most current status of your application is available online, 24/7. Simply return to our website, login to your Applicant Profile and click on “My Career Tools” for further information.

Please note: Qualified applicants that meet the minimum requirements for each job will be considered for an interview. Selected applicants may be contacted for an interview.

Is my data secure on your website?

We make every effort to protect your data; please contact the Ascension Health Ministry Service Center if you have specific questions related to its use.

What kind of orientation can a new Associate expect?

All new Associates attend the New Associate Experience, which takes place every other Monday. Nurses also attend a separate Nurse Orientation. For more information on the New Associate Experience, please read our section: Your First Day.

I want to work for Providence but I don’t have internet access or a computer.

No problem. Providence Healthcare Network welcomes all potential applicants to visit our Human Resources Department between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday to the computers and resources available in our application room.
