Bosibori Amoro, MD
When Dr. Bosibori Amoro moved to Waco in August of 2010, she brought with her a passion for serving the needs of children. She opened the Providence Pediatric Clinic with the assistance of the Providence Health Alliance. She was joined in August, 2011 by Dr. Scott Huitink and in September, 2011 by Dr. Kelly Janish.
Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Dr. Amoro came to the United States in August, 1999 to attend college. She enrolled at Texas Tech University in Lubbock where she received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and her Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. She completed her Residency in Pediatrics while at Texas Tech.
Dr. Amoro is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also on the Waco March of Dimes volunteer board.
Dr. Amoro enjoys traveling, cooking, and running. She and her husband, Derek, have an Australian shepherd mix dog named Cooper. They are hoping to expand their family as they settle into their new home in Waco.
