The First Certified Primary Stroke Center in Central Texas
The Stroke Center at Providence is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center certified by The Joint Commission and a Level II - Stroke Center designated by The State of Texas. Currently, these are the highest levels of recognition available. The center is comprised of highly trained professionals that provide compassionate care to our stroke survivors and their families utilizing the latest technologies.
The Stroke Center recently received the Silver Level Performance Award from the American Heart Association – Get with the Guidelines Program showing improvement in acute stroke treatment and prevention of secondary events. Our stroke patients and their families can rest assured that they are receiving the best possible care in the industry.
Stroke is a brain attack and should be
treated as an Emergency!
