Meet the Doctors
Rodney Richie, MD
Dr. Rodney Charles Richie graduated from Southern Methodist University and attended Baylor College of Medicine where he graduated with honors and the Upjohn Award for clinical excellence. Following his internship and residency at Straight Internal Medicine, Dr. Richie became the Chief Medical Resident of the Houston Veterans Administration Hospital. His fellowship in Pulmonary Disease is from the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Richie has been published in multiple journals and scientific papers. His research projects are vastly recognized across his field. When Dr. Richie joined Providence, he was in his second year as a Research Fellow in Pulmonary Medicine at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Maydee Rosario-Reglero, MD
Dr. Maydee Annette Rosario graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico. Following graduation, she attended the Universidad Central del Caribe where she earned her medical degree. Upon graduation from the School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Dr. Rosario attended the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she studied Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Rosario is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians. During undergraduate studies, Dr. Rosario was Cum Laude among her peers. In the Internal Medicine Program, she graduated Valedictorian of her class.
Mark S. Klepper, MD
Dr. Mark Stuart Klepper attended the University of Missouri in Kansas City where he earned his Bachelor Degree in Biology. Following graduation, Dr. Klepper attended the Baylor College of Medicine where he earned his affiliation in Internal Medicine and in Pulmonary Medicine. He served his residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and his fellowship at three Houston hospitals-the VA Medical Center, Ben Taub General Hospital, and Methodist Hospital. Dr. Klepper is a Captain in the Army Reserve Medical Corps and is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. He has taught at Southwest Texas State University as well as at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin. In his tenure, Dr. Klepper has served as the Chief of Staff of the Specialty Hospital of Austin, the Director of Pulmonary/Ventilation Program at the Specialty Hospital, and Chairman of the Critical Care Committee of Seton Medical Center. Special experience includes basic science research in ICU nutrition, ICU fellowship, and pulmonary function & exercise lab.
Boris A. Murillo, MD
Dr. Boris Murillo graduated from the University of San Francisco with his Doctor of Medicine. Following his internship and residency at Berkshire Medical Center, Dr. Murillo became the Chief Medical Resident. He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Dr. Murillo has had several academic and hospital appointments and has been published in many journals and abstracts. He currently serves on eleven medical committees and has received top honors including the prestigious HealthGrades Pulmonary Care Excellence Award. Prior to joining Providence, he served as the Pulmonary and Critical Care Attending Interventional Pulmonologist at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and Associate Professor of Medicine at University Massachusetts School of Medicine.
Matthew T. Pattillo, MD
Dr. Pattillo comes to Waco from Dallas where he completed the pulmonary and critical care fellowship program at UT Southwestern. Prior to that, he practiced as a hospitalist at Baylor University Medical Center and was affiliated with the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio as a physical exam tutor for the Clinical Skills Exam Medical School Admissions Committee. He also worked with the UT Medical Branch in Galveston as a Research Assistant. Dr. Pattillo received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He is a recipient of the John S. Miller Award for “Resident of the Year” in Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern in Dallas and was named “Teacher of the Year” for General Medicine at Baylor University.
Julie Loudamy, MSN, RN, ACNP, BC, CCRN
Nurse practitioner Julie Loudamy received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Odessa College. Following completion of nursing school, Julie attended the University of Texas at Arlington where she received both her Bachelor of Science of Nursing (Honors) and her Master of Science of Nursing (High Honors). During this time, she served as coordinator and instructor for a 48-hour comprehensive critical care course. She was also a lecturer on various topics and an instructor for Paramedic Continuing Education and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Prior to joining Providence, she worked in Odessa at Medical Center Hospital as a Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist and at Odessa Heart Institute as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Julie then moved to Waco and joined Waco Lung Associates. Julie is Board Certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
