Meet the Doctors

Gary Barbin, MD
Dr. Gary K. Barbin graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Following graduation he completed his internship & residency training at UTMB-Galveston, specializing in Internal Medicine and also held a teaching appointment at UTMB-John Sealy Hospital. Dr. Barbin is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He joined Waco Internal Medicine Associates in 1978 and Providence Clinics in 2008. 
James Copeland, MD
Dr. James Copeland, Jr. graduated from Baylor University and the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston. After graduation, he completed his internship & residency at UTMB, specializing in Internal Medicine. While at UTMB, Dr. Copeland completed his McLaughlin Research Fellowship in Infectious Diseases and is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has been with Waco Internal Medicine since 1977 and Providence Clinics since 2008.
Ross Shipp, MD
Dr. Ross Shipp graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston. Following graduation, he also completed his internship & residency at UTMB, specializing in Internal Medicine. During this time he also served in the Texas Army National Guard. Dr. Shipp is Board Certified by the American Baord of Internal Medicine. He joined Waco Internal Medicine Associates in 1972 and Providence Clinics in 2008.
Arthur Sudan, MD
Dr. Arthur Sudan graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston specializing in Internal Medicine. After graduation, he compelted his internship & residency traning at the Baylor College of Medicine and served as a research assistant in Infectious Diseases. Dr. Sudan is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He joined Waco Internal Medicine Associates in 1985 and Providence Clinics in 2008.
