Meet the Doctors
Jackson K. Walker, MD
Jackson K. Walker, MD, earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston (UTMB). He completed his residency program in Internal Medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. Dr. Walker is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He has been with Providence Healthcare Network since 1996.
Roger Cowart, MD
Dr. Roger W. Cowart graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received his Master of Science Degree in Health Care Professions at Southwest Texas State University, and attended the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine where he received his Doctorate in Medicine. Dr. Cowart completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at East Tennessee State University James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee. Prior to joining Providence, Dr. Cowart served on the staff of the Waco VA Medical Center, the Marlin VA Medical Center, and the Falls Community Hospital and Rural Health Clinic. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has been affiliated with the Providence Healthcare Network since 1993.
