The Congestive Heart Failure Clinic at Providence opened in 2001 as a physician-directed and nurse-managed clinic providing comprehensive care for patients with the diagnosis of heart failure. Working with the physician to provide long-term outpatient management are experienced, cardiovascular nurses certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support with specialized training in the treatment of congestive heart failure. Infusion therapy, medication assistance, and in-depth teaching about the disease process and lifestyle are just a few of the services available to the CHF Clinic patient.
