Welcome to Providence Park

Providence Park is Waco’s premier community for independent living, assisted living, and long term care. This state-of-the-art facility offers a continuum of care based on a resident’s level of need. The Village at Providence Park features 61 apartments for independent living, while St. Elizabeth Place offers 40 apartments for assisted living. St. Catherine Center serves as a nursing and rehabilitation center, including 90 sub acute care beds, and 150 long term nursing care beds.

Independent Living

The Village at Providence Park, our senior independent living community, offers residents the total luxury of carefree living. Spacious well-appointed apartments provide privacy in an attractive, secure environment with a variety of floor plans. Our services and amenities insure all the comforts of home without the demands of cleaning, cooking, and repairs.

Assisted Living

As health and personal needs change, new lifestyle choices may require consideration. St. Elizabeth Place, our assisted living center, can be an excellent alternative for maintaining the independence you cherish. When you choose to make St. Elizabeth Place your home, many concerns can be left behind such as the day to day responsibilities of cleaning, cooking, and transportation. Should you need it, a friendly helping hand from our dedicated, professional staff is always nearby to help with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, and medications.

Sub Acute Care

The Sub Acute Care Unit was designed to treat medically stable patients who no longer require hospital care, but require nursing and medical care that cannot be supplied at home, in an outpatient facility or in a nursing home.

We treat medically complex patients who suffer from multiple health problems and who require specific pre- or post-acute rehabilitation therapy. The Sub Acute Care Unit also treats patients who are recovering from major surgery and patients who are recovering from major joint replacement procedures.

The philosophy of the Sub Acute Care Unit is to provide residents with individualized plans of care to promote dignity and return the patient to the maximum level of functioning possible.

Nursing Care

We believe that respect and compassion for the dignity and diversity of life are essential in caring for our residents, regardless of age. At St. Catherine, our nursing care center, we strive to provide compassionate, professional health care for each resident. Our healthcare professionals understand the importance of caring for the mind, body and spirit of each person entrusted to our care.

Because of our unique location, near the intersection of Highways 6 and 84, residents are in close proximity to the Providence Heath Center campus as well as numerous banks, churches, shopping venues, restaurants, and movie theaters.
