Providence Hospice is a 501 (c)(3)
non-profit organization that has been serving Waco and the
surrounding area since 1995. The philosophy of hospice care
revolves around the importance of advocating the needs of the
terminally ill. Hospice care neither hastens death, nor prolongs
life but strives to make death a natural part of life. The mission
of Providence Hospice is to provide compassionate, quality care
and support for the terminally ill and their loved ones.
Our professionally trained staff provides compassionate, quality
health care to adults, children and infants facing the advancing
stages of any life-threatening illness such as cancer,
Alzheimer’s, AIDS, end-stage heart and lung disease, and severe
birth defects.
Quality care is provided to the patient through:

nurses, social workers, chaplains, home health aides and trained
volunteers.
