Providence Health Center, a state-of-the-art, 170-bed health facility, was built in 1989 in a rapidly growing area of Waco. Providence added a new floor to house the Women's & Children's Center in September 1996. The Center includes nine LDRP suites, a Level II / Well Baby Nursery, a Pediatric unit and a Women's unit, dedicated to the special health needs of women.

Providence also provides a wide range of diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical and rehabilitative services including Waco's leading open heart surgery program.
